Protect your bubble, which is an Assurant Direct brand, has launched a new iPhone policy and is claiming that the product costs less than half the price of iPhone insurance currently offered by some networks.
At £5.99 a month, the policy includes worldwide cover for accidental damage (including water damage) and theft, plus mechanical breakdown once the Apple warranty expires.
The cost is the same for all iPhone models and policyholders also benefit from cover for £100 worth of unauthorised calls if their phone is stolen, a 48 hour replacement guarantee once a claim is agreed and a free data backup service that allows for safe storage of contacts.
Loss protection can be added for an additional £1 per month.
